Reggae artist YG Marley has finally released the official video for his viral debut single, “Praise Jah in the Moonlight.”
Released in December 2023, the song was written by Marley and his mother Lauryn Hill, and samples his grandfather Bob Marley’s 1978 song “Crisis.” With over 100 Million streams on Spotify, the song is being hailed as one of the biggest reggae songs from the last decade.
The video was directed by Cole Bennett and shows Marley traversing through rural Jamaica handing out flowers to neighbors as he traveled from place to place. Complete with a choir and a cameo from his iconic mother, the video is the icing on the cake for a perfect debut release.
