Jackson State University’s WJSU 88.5 FM hosted their highly anticipated event, “Battle of the Saxes,” honoring Dr. Jimmy Bell on Saturday, May 18 at Duling Hall in Fondren. Music enthusiasts from Jackson and beyond gathered for the celebration of jazz, talent, and community headlined by saxophonists Theresa Grayson and Kyle Turner.
