Desmone Mathews is from West Point, MS. He attended Itawamba Community College in the fall of 2016, then transferred to the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) in the fall of 2018. Desmone received his Bachelors of Arts in Broadcast Journalism in May of 2021.
While attending Ole Miss, Desmone started a part time job at WCBI-TV in Columbus, MS which turned into a full time position. Desmone served as lead reporter and weekend anchor while at WCBI. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family, friends and his fiancé PaDasia.
